Strong and Slow Flow

I’m excited to be offering a new class at Yogalicious Yoga Studio in Spartanburg, SC on Thursday’s. Currently this class meets from 8:30-9:45am in person and with Zoom options as well (that may change in October to 9am, we’ll see what works best for folks.)
Over the past year, my personal practice and teaching has been very heavily Yin-focused. Yin is a practice with long holds (3-20 minutes) that allows one to absorb the experience, physically/mentally/emotionally. It’s not really restorative so much as it is meditative. Lately, I’ve craved more movement, almost a need to burn through some of the experience that has been absorbed. The Strong and Slow Flow class is meant to do just that. We’ll focus on strength, balance and flexibility and work towards one “peak” pose each week. The class is designed to be fun/lighthearted and a good start to the day.
